Cassandra Cook

Wildlife Biologist

Cassie Cook is a wildlife biologist working at Marine Corps Base Quantico providing support for wildlife and habitat management practices on Base. She received her Master’s Degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary in 2016 and her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan in 2010. She has worked on projects including herpetofauna species inventory, shorebird breeding ecology, greater sage-grouse habitat management, and coastal wetland vegetation inventory. She has worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Forest Service, University of Texas, University of Illinois, and a non-profit as well. Her research interests include amphibian and reptile ecology, as well as habitat management.
