Dr. Joby Kauffman has a PhD in Geospatial and Environmental Analysis, and an M.S. degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Virginia Tech (along with with a graduate certificate in geospatial information technology), an M.S. in Mathematics from East Tennessee State University, and a B.A. in Mathematics from Millersville University. Joby held a faculty position at Ferrum College where he taught mathematics and statistics. Joby applies his quantitative experience and expertise to forest inventory data analysis, geospatial analysis of road networks and distance zones, and remote sensing for forest cover mapping.
