Private Lands Biologists

Through collaborative efforts with federal, state, and non-governmental natural resource management agencies, CMI employs a team of private lands biologists (PLBs). The PLBs are responsible for engaging land owners and producers, and facilitate wildlife habitat implementation and improvement practices through planning and incentive programs.

PLBs are presently working on two important habitat initiatives: the Virginia Quail Recovery Initiative, and the Eastern Hellbender Conservation Initiative.
