Kelsey Stoneberg-Loch

Private Lands Biologist (Verona)

Kelsey Stoneberg-Loch is a Private Lands Biologist for central Virginia working with the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources and the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service. She works with landowners to help them reach their goals of managing their property for wildlife with an emphasis on restoring habitats that are underrepresented on the landscape.

Prior to becoming a Private Lands Biologist, Kelsey worked for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission on the Everglades and Francis S. Taylor Wildlife Management Area. There, she did wildlife surveys, invasive species monitoring and removal, and prescribed burning. Before Florida, she was in Buffalo, New York, working for an environmental consulting company conducting wildlife surveys and wetland delineations for pipeline and solar facilities.
