Virginia Dept. of Game and Inland Fisheries

The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries is one of our oldest partners. The CMI and VDGIF have collaborated on research projects and programs for over 20 years. These efforts have included database and information technology, habitat mapping, field research, among others. Presently, there are several CMI staff dedicated to assisting the VDGIF with the completion of special projects as well as longer-term information and analysis. These include our Private Lands Biologists, as well as GIS analysts, wildlife veterinary staff, and mussel propagation specialists.
